Last night's Project Runway sucked. All the people on the show are boring and only a couple people did anything uncomfortable. And then it came down to the to worst outfits and they kept the one with zero thought, effort or creativity over a boring one that had three pieces and quite a bit of effort.

And this morning I heard a new track from Foreigner. It sucked. If I didn't know it was Foreigner I would have though it was just another random back ripping off Maroon 5.

Daisie did not have a stroke, but they thought she did because she was mostly paralyzed and couldn't talk. She has MRSA. This is pretty serious, but they have her on some new treatment that's supposed to work.

So that's the update.

So the big event I'm planning is going to be a huge festival to raise money for the Desert AIDS Project. It will be held at the Big League Dreams and will have at least 40 bands on three stages. The only problem at this time is I need about $30,000 upfront for expenses.

So if you know anybody or any way to get money like this for charitable purposes, let me know.

1033

'We cannot be united with God unless we freely choose to love him. But we cannot love God if we sin gravely against him, against our neighbor or against ourselves: "He who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."610 Our Lord warns us that we shall be separated from him if we fail to meet the serious needs of the poor and the little ones who are his brethren.611 To die in mortal sin without repenting and accepting God's merciful love means remaining separated from him for ever by our own free choice. This state of definitive self- exclusion from communion with God and the blessed is called "hell." '

Artist: Bob Marley
Lyric: Thank You Lord

Thank you, Lord, for what you've done for me.
Thank you, Lord, for what you're doing now.
Thank you, Lord, for ev'ry little thing.
Thank you, Lord, for you made me sing.

Say I'm in no competition,
But I made my decision.
You can keep your opinion.
I'm just calling on the wise man's communion.

Thank you, Lord, for what you've done for me.
Thank you, Lord, for what you're doing now.
Thank you, Lord, for ev'ry little thing.
Thank you, Lord, for you made me sing.

Sing along, sing along.

I don't fear their humiliation,
Just to prove my determination.
I don't yield to temptation,
I haven't learn't my lesson in Revelation.

Thank you, Lord, for what you've done for me.
Thank you, Lord, for what you're doing now.
Thank you, Lord, for ev'ry little thing.
Thank you, Lord, for you made me sing.

Sing along, sing along.

Say I'm in no competition
But I made my decision,
Lord, in my simple way.
Comin', comin', comin', comin'.
I love to pray.

Thank you, Lord, for what you've done for me.
Thank you, Lord, for what you're doing now.

Thank you, Lord, for ev'ry little thing.

I'm thinking out loud again.

Jesus asked the Father to forgive the soldiers who crucified him. They did not know what they were doing, he said.

If these soldiers were acting in the jurisdiction of the state, why would they need forgiveness? As the state's proxy, they are not responsible for their actions (according to some).

Further thinking about the crucifixion: The state crucified an innocent man, but God was killing a guilty man. We can talk a lot about when the sin was placed on Jesus, if it was in his death or while he was being flayed perhaps, but it is interesting that while the flesh is acting in an unjust manner, the Spirit is working justice. This is echoed time and again in scripture, most notably in the story of Joseph. While his brothers sinned, God was causing this sin for good. God ordained the sin of the brothers for the good of His people. Pretty amazing.
